¿Es el gato gordo o flaco?

2nd-3rd grade have been working on descriptions, such as grande, pequeño, gordo and flaco. They have also learned the verb come (eats). Along with talking about what we eat and don’t eat, we have been threading these words into a variety of stories about gatos y peces (cats and fish).

Kindergarten and 1st grade have been learning the same vocabulary, adapted to their level, and they are understanding the stories and answering my questions, all in Spanish!

Our next unit will focus on numbers, especially by counting manos, dedos, pies (hands, fingers, feet)!

Here is a video on the numbers, forwards and backwards, to practice at home! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ydJr1Is8xI
