Useful Phrases in Spanish

Spanish 1 (4th, 5th and 6th) Grade will be immersed in the Spanish language starting this week. I will try to speak 90% Spanish during each class period. This means, students will mostly understand what I am saying via my stunning pantomiming skills! During this time, students are asked to speak only in Spanish. If they cannot speak in Spanish, they should not be speaking. If it is a speaking activity, I make sure the students have mastered the words before they are asked to produce them.

Nevertheless, if students wish to speak during this time, I have created online flashcards with useful classroom phrases.

Here are the links to them:

Click on each card to use them as regular flashcards or scroll to the bottom for a variety of games you can play with the words. Hungry Bug is my personal favorite!
